The church

Santa Maria del Barsento 

Our wedding will take place in Noci, a small, nice village in the province of Bari, which is 40 km away from Bari. The old church where we will get married is a jewel of Puglia architectonic patrimony.
 It is a small, rural church built during the 591 d.C. year from St. Equizio monks.


The church has abbey form and Romanic style: it represents, for its age and features, a rare example all along Italy not only in Puglia.
The abbey façade has a short bell-tower. 
The inner part shows poor walls whitewashed by lime and original shapes are mostly untouched.
