Master Rule: Women!!! If you wear white.. stay away from the bride!!!she can turn herself into a monster capable of anything in order to tear your dress apart!! ;)
More politically correct: It is not recommended for anyone other than the Bride to wear white!!!
Rule number 2: Italian weddings do not generally require long dresses. Italian guests are usually quite elegant – you know Italians are famous for being fashion addicted! – but a long dress is not needed.
Rule number 3: Black dresses are becoming more and more popular because considered really elegant especially for an afternoon wedding. Very colorful dresses should be avoided since it could be quite unusual for Italians – you will be able to tell by the odd looks you get from them!
Men should wear a dark suit (black, grey or navy blue) and a tie.
